Title: Law of the People’s Republic of China on Farmer’s Special Cooperatives Promulgating Organ: The Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Date of Promulgation: October 31, 2006 Date of Implementation: July 1, 2007 Applicable Scope: Farmer’s special cooperatives. Major Contents: The Law states the principals abided by farmer’s special cooperatives. The Law also stipulates that the State protects the legal rights of farmer’s special cooperatives and tieir members, and any unit or individual may not be inviolable. In respect to establishment and registration, the Law provides the conditions had by the establishment of farmer’s special cooperatives. Concerning organization, the Law stipulates the function and power exercised by farmer’s special cooperatives. |
