Law of the People’s Republic of China on Protection of Juniors
Title: Law of the People’s Republic of China on Protection of Junior Promulgating Organ: The Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Date of Promulgation: December 29, 2006 Date of Implementation: June 1, 2007 Applicable Scope: Protection of Junior. Major Contents: The Law states the definition of junior. The Law also stipulates the principals for protection of junior. The Law still regulates that central governments and local government agencies at different levels shall do well in protection of junior within their scope of responsibilities. With regard to family protection, it is provided that relevant government agencies and social organizations shall provide family education and guidance to parents or other conservators. |
