Title: Law of the People’s Republic of China on Prevention in Polluting Environment by Solid Rubbish Promulgating Organ: The Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Date of Promulgation: December 29, 2004 Date of Implementation: April 1, 2005 Applicable Scope: Prevention in polluting environment by solid rubbish. Major Contents: The scope of the application of the Law is specified in the Law. With regarding to the supervision and management to the prevention in polluting environment by solid rubbish, it is prescribed that the administrative competent department engaging in environment protection under the State Council shall, according to the quality standard concerning the State environment, the economy of the State and technical conditions, formulate the technical standards regarding polluting environment by solid rubbish. |
