Title: Regulations on Religious Affairs Promulgating Organ: The State Council Date of Promulgation: November 30, 2004 Date of Implementation: March 1, 2004 Applicable Scope: Religious affairs. Major Contents: It is prescribed in the Regulations that citizens have freedom of religion. With regard to religious bodies, it is stipulated that religious bodies shall develop activities according to rules of association, and their activities are protested by law. The conditions which shall be met by establishment of religious schools are also prescribed in the Regulations. |
